ESIA of the Feasibility Study for Installation of (On-Grid) Connection SPV Renewable Energy System

The goal of the Technical Assistance is to provide the key analysis, materials and implementation documents to support the installation of a solar photovoltaic (SPV) renewable energy system for residential, commercial and industrial buildings in Hebron City.

EQO is responsible to lead the development of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP). As a rooftop project, which uses existing buildings, the environmental impact of the project is likely to be extremely beneficial to the environment due to the displacement of fossil fuels. However, key implementation impacts will be explored, for which appropriate mitigation measures will be recommended.

Technical Assistance for the implementation and management of identified solar parks

This contract will provide technical assistance and advisory services to the Ministry of New and Renwable Energy (MNRE) and Renewable Energy Corporation of India (RECI) in order to implement and effectively manage the identified solar parks in India, based on EU best practices suited for local conditions as a part of Green Energy Corridor (GEC) II project.

The work under will also involve supporting the activities of the joint working groups created in the framework of the EU–India energy panel, namely: 1) energy security; 2) renewables/energy efficiency/smart integration; and 3) coal and clean coal.

Caribbean Climate Smart Islands Program – Assessment of mitigation options to transition to low carbon pathways

The main objective of this project is the support to the transition to a Low carbon pathways in Tobago (Trinidad and Tobago), Caye Caulker (Belize) and Harbour Island (The Bahamas) by identifying and implementing climate resilient mitigation measures in the tourism sector.

The “Caribbean Climate Smart Islands Program” aims to demonstrate ways of transitioning to a low carbon and climate resilient development pathway utilizing as pilots the islands of Tobago (Trinidad & Tobago), Caye Caulker (Belize) and Harbour Island (The Bahamas). The identified measures will be analyzed from a cost-benefit and commercial potential perspective in order to prioritize them, highlighting cost recovery rates. Based on this analysis, mitigation pilots will be carried out in the project sites.

Low Carbon Business Action in Brazil

  • Adoption of low emission technology by existing industries.
  • Creation of low emission technology industries in Brazil.
  • Promotion of internationalisation of EU SMEs: industrial cooperation between low emission solution providers from the EU and industrial partners from Brazil.

GHG Emission Accounting from Tourism Sector in Montenegro

Analysis of Mozambique’s quality infrastructure and quality services: market assessment, mapping of quality infrastructure

The global objective is to help the government of Mozambique to promote the development of the quality infrastructure in Mozambique.

ii) based on the results of the market study and the mapping of the current quality infrastructure, carry out a gap analysis and propose a detailed implementation plan to enable the existing conformity assessment bodies (CAB) to set up the needed infrastructure in a medium term perspective.

Support to Trade and Regional Integration Programme under the National Indicative Plan for the 10th EDF
