From 19th-21th November in Barcelona, EQO attended Smart City Expo World Congress 2014 in order to seek new partnerships and promote new solutions for climate smart cities in developing countries.

The Smart City Expo World Congress gathered companies, governments, entrepreneurs and research centers from different countries around the world including the World Bank and other international organizations to support the development of the cities in the future. Experts from various disciplines provided insights into the concept of smart cities by promoting new urban technologies and institutional frameworks that will make cities more efficiently and sustainable.

Among other events, EQO took active part in conferences such as “Making renewables part of a more energy mix”,  “Rethinking cities to improve energy sustainability”, “Large scale integration of renewable energies and energy efficiency in cities” and “Planning Sustainable Cities”.
